Summary: FairSwap does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. FairSwap is a fully offline, client-side application. No accounts, registration, or sign-in is required.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using on-device storage (AsyncStorage):

Trade history — records of trades you have checked, so you can review them later.
App preferences — your theme choice (dark/light mode).
Admin overrides — if you use the admin feature to customise pet values, those changes are stored locally.

This data is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service. It remains entirely on your device and can be cleared at any time from the Settings screen.

3. Network Usage

The app may make network requests solely to load pet images from a publicly available image source (static.wikia.nocookie.net). No personal data, device identifiers, or usage analytics are sent with these requests.

4. Third-Party Services

FairSwap does not integrate any:

Analytics or tracking SDKs
Advertising networks
Social media SDKs
Crash reporting services
Push notification services

5. Children's Privacy

FairSwap is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since no personal data is collected at all, the app is compliant with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar child-privacy regulations.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to third parties because we do not collect any data.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:

Using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings, or
Uninstalling the app from your device.

8. Security

Since all data remains on your device and no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of server-side data breaches. Your data is as secure as your device.

9. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our end. You have full control over the locally stored app data on your device.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
